Our meticulous process also integrated invaluable feedback from professional musicians, including bassists, drummers, and synth keyboardists, who tested the Deuce in both production and live settings. Thank you for your incredible support for the FATfreq x HBB Deuce. We’re thrilled to share that we crossed the 4,000 pre-order mark earlier this week! In response to valuable feedback from our community, we’re excited to announce an enhancement to your FATfreq x HBB Deuce pre-order package. We’ve decided to include an impedance bass adapter with every pre-order to further elevate your listening experience.
Our development team has been working diligently to determine the optimal value and circuitry for this impedance adapter. Designed to enhance the sub-bass under 150Hz, the adapter increases the bass shelf by ~10dB, delivering powerful, deep, and controlled bass that adds significant impact to your audio experience. Since the ideal configuration is not readily available on the market, we have taken the initiative to design and build it ourselves. Production is already underway, and we are committed to delivering these adapters to you as soon as possible.
For customers who selected the 3.5mm unbalanced jack option, your package will include a 3.5mm impedance adapter. Those who chose the 4.4mm balanced jack option will receive a more premium 4.4mm balanced impedance adapter.
Please note that your choice of cable termination directly affects the configuration of the impedance adapter you will receive. The absence of a DSP in IEMs means that we have to match the phase of multi-way systems via Acoustic delay. Using proprietary structures, we were able to align the low, mid and high frequencies such that they reach your eardrum in a coherent manner.
